Preparation & Use
Slice a raw onion and place a layer (about half an inch) in a jar, drizzle with a tablespoon of raw honey and repeat layers until the jar is mostly full, finishing with honey. Optional additions include minced garlic or ginger. Let the jar sit for 24 hours to allow the onion juice and honey to form a syrup. Strain out the onion and store the syrup in the refrigerator.
