Infants (0-12 months)

For infants under 3 months with a fever over 100.4°F (38°C), seek medical attention immediately.

  1. Keep baby hydrated with frequent nursing or bottle feeding.

  2. Skin-to-skin contact to help regulate temperature.

    Stop if shivering occurs.

  4. Keep dressed in light, breathable clothing.

Toddlers (1-3 years)
